Environmentally friendly packaging for food products
The trend towards sustainability plays an important role in the food industry and is also a central development point for us as a manufacturer of high-quality and environmentally friendly packaging for food, which we are actively promoting in our company.
As part of our ecological and social responsibility as a company in the food industry, recyclable food packaging and the resource-conserving use of raw materials play a decisive role and are therefore the focus of our research efforts. Innovative and effective packaging fulfils a protective function and ensures a high level of food safety, reduces food waste and reduces packaging waste. The social sustainability aspect of our activities affects the transport function of our products: The safe transport of food to consumers is not possible without excellent packaging.
In the interests of sustainability and efficiency, we are constantly working on the development of new, improved and environmentally friendly packaging for food that uses less material and thus plays a decisive role in shaping the path to a more sustainable industry.
Careful use of resources
For many years, we have been committed to actively contributing to the avoidance of waste and using resources with respect. We use resources (such as raw materials, energy and water) sparingly and carefully to run our company and keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. Modern technologies, our extensive network and our many years of expertise make all of this possible.
Waste avoidance
We have developed an in-house waste management system that ensures the consistent avoidance and separation of waste. The close cooperation with experts for recycling and disposal enables the efficient recycling of PREMIUMPACK’s own waste in the long term. This is how plastics are turned into new products instead of ending up in landfills.
Economical water usage
At our production site in Hagenbrunn on the northern outskirts of Vienna, environmental management is very important. Our high-quality water flows directly into our company via the Viennese mountain spring water pipeline from the Austrian Rax-Schneeberg mountain range. Efficient filter systems allow the careful and clean use of water at PREMIUMPACK.
