The PREMIUMform multilayer shrink film based on EVOH was developed for packaging on thermoforming machines. The shrink film for food such as fresh meat and sausage products consists of a formable, shrinkable bottom film and a shrinking top film. The food to be packaged is packaged, vacuumed and sealed in the shape of the bottom film. The product is then shrunk in an automatic shrink tunnel or shrink tank.
Flexibility at high cycle rates
This process has decisive advantages, especially when packing large quantities of identical products at high cycle rates. PREMIUMform can be used on thermoforming machines designed for shrink film, as well as on a variety of standard thermoforming machines.
